Delivery Driver
United Diesel is a family-run repair workshop based at Atcham Business Park, Atcham, Shrewsbury. We specialise in the repair and supply of diesel and petrol fuel injectors, pumps, diesel injector power upgrades, turbochargers, and the professional cleaning of DPF (diesel particulate filters) and CAT (catalytic reduction units) for cars, commercial, plant, agricultural and marine applications.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our team based on our Atcham site. Working within a small team, the ideal candidate must demonstrate that they have a positive and flexible approach and a team player with a 'can-do' attitude. We are looking for a PART TIME driver to assist in the collection and deliveries of customer's parts
Are you a Delivery Driver with a real passion to deliver products to customers in a timely way?
Our delivery driver will be involved in a range of duties including:
- Packing, loading, and unloading delivery vans
- Delivering parcels and goods to customers on designated routes
- Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they’re accurate
- Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
- Keeps accurate records of deliveries and customer authorisation and ensure all documentation is submitted to management on time
- Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Keeps company vehicle clean and ensure it is well-maintained, has fuel, oil and is ready to drive
Candidates must fill the following criteria:
- Hold a clean driving license for more than five years.
- Be familiar with approximately 50 miles of the surrounding areas of Shrewsbury.
- Be able to operate a Sat-nav and plan a route.
- Legible handwritten is essential.
- You will need to do a daily vehicle check and undertake minor maintenance procedures including keeping your vehicle clean.
- Project a professional image both in appearance and attitude.
Our vans do have Sat-nav’s and tracker’s fitted.
