Hendra Holiday Park is a family-run, five-star, multi-award-winning destination in beautiful Newquay, Cornwall. We're proud to offer memorable holiday experiences for our guests and are now in the process building a new facility on site, Newquay Rocks. A new year-round activity centre, accommodating a family climbing facility, soft play, gym, coffee shop and community event space.

The role
As Newquay Rocks Reception, you will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming and professional first impression for every guest while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of this exciting new activity centre. You will help ensure visitors receive excellent customer service, accurate information and efficient support throughout their visit to Newquay Rocks.
You will play an important role in greeting guests, handling enquiries, answering the phone, processing bookings and payments, and keeping front of house areas clean, organised and running efficiently.
This role requires a friendly and proactive individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience across climbing, soft play, parties, the gym, coffee shop and community events.
Responsibilities include:
· Greeting guests to Newquay Rocks in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner
· Handling bookings, admissions, payments, party enquiries and general customer queries
· Providing accurate information about climbing sessions, soft play, parties, the gym, coffee shop, opening times and centre services
· Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the reception and assisting front of house areas
· Maintaining a clean, organised and presentable environment
· Responding promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns and feedback
· Assisting customers with arrivals, waivers, activity information and general site guidance
· Working closely with climbing, soft play, coffee shop and wider site teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
· Promoting a positive image of the business through excellent service and communication
· Promoting a positive image of Newquay Rocks and Hendra Holiday Park through excellent service and communication
· Delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for all guests
Who we are looking for:

· Is confident dealing with guest enquiries, bookings, admissions and payments
· Can remain calm, organised and efficient in a busy environment
· Has good attention to detail and a hands-on approach to daily tasks
· Is reliable, punctual and able to work flexibly as part of a wider team
· Is confident using booking systems, tills or reception software
· Is enthusiastic about creating a positive and memorable guest experience
Previous customer service, reception, leisure or hospitality experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided.
This role may involve weekend, evening and holiday working, depending on business needs.

Pay: £13.45-£14.41 per hour
