Freelance Travel Sales Consultant – Ludlow

Your Endless Travel is looking for an experienced travel sales professional to join our team based in our Ludlow retail travel shop.
This is a self-employed, commission-only position - but unlike many freelance travel roles, you will benefit from a steady flow of genuine customer enquiries generated through our established marketing activity, repeat business, and in-store footfall.
We specialise in tailor-made, long-haul and experiential travel, with particular strengths in destinations such as Japan, Canada, Latin America, Africa, South-East Asia and Central Asia. In our high street Ludlow store, we also receive enquiries for city breaks and short-haul travel, including rail.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, creating bespoke itineraries, and delivering a high level of personal service - without the pressure of needing to generate all of their own leads from scratch.
The Role
You will work with a mix of:
- Warm inbound enquiries generated by our marketing
- Existing customer enquiries and repeat business
- Walk-in customers visiting our Ludlow shop
- Your own client base and personal leads (if applicable)
You will sell a wide range of tailor-made holidays including:
- Long-haul touring holidays
- Multi-centre itineraries
- Luxury and experiential travel
- Wildlife and safari holidays
- Ski and snowsports holidays
- Honeymoons and celebration travel
- Rail, adventure, and specialist travel experiences
- City breaks
- Short- and mid-haul beach holidays
Working Arrangements
- Minimum commitment: 3 days per week in the Ludlow shop (22.5 hours)
- Opportunity to increase to full-time equivalent hours (37.5 hours/week)
- Additional hours can be worked remotely and/or in-store
- Flexible structure for the right candidate
- Self-employed freelance basis
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Previous travel sales experience
- Proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confidence creating tailor-made itineraries
- Good destination knowledge and commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable:
- Existing client base
- Experience with long-haul or specialist travel
- Knowledge of systems such as HubSpot, eTrip, or similar CRMs/booking platforms
- Social media or personal marketing confidence
