BSNI have an excellent opportunity for our manufacturing client based in Castlereagh for a Silo Operator.
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: £13 phr
Job duties:
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene in accordance with the company hygiene policy and wear required PPE.
- Have regard for their own personal safety and welfare
- Participate in training as required.
- Assuming responsibility for good time keeping.
- Adhering to the QMS/BRC/ISO9001:2015 as described in company policies and procedures.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials and products.
- Handle all materials in such a way as to prevent damage, deterioration and loss.
- Completion of checks as hard copies or inputted onto the JCB system.
- Follow ‘clean as you go’ cleaning procedures, daily/weekly
- Handling materials for reprocessing to the appropriate area.
- Set up Rip and Tip station.
- Fill polymer silos with appropriate material for production.
- Identify correct polymer and place in designated silo.
- Input silo stock details onto JCB.
- Maintain stock in the service yard
Candidate requirements:
- Minimum 4 years forklift experience.
- Minimum 2 year production experience
- Counterbalance forklift license
