Clandeboye Estate Yoghurt, based in Bangor County Down, produce an award winning range of yoghurt products supplied to customers across the UK & Ireland.
The company now wish to recruit a Milk Processing Operative to join their growing Operations team.
The role is predominately MONDAY TO THURSDAY 10 hour shifts with a SUNDAY shift on a rotation basis.
DUTIES:
Working predominately within the milk processing room the Milk Processing Operative is responsible for
- Collection and transportation of milk from the Clandeboye Estate Farm
- Receipt of additional milk deliveries
- Completion of key food safety and quality checks
- Completion of accurate paperwork for traceability
- Setup and observe successful pasteurisation of milk prior to incubation
- Ensure successful setup of the incubation process
- Setup and observe successful completion of equipment cleaning procedure's
- Ensure the workplace is kept tidy and operate in a clean as you go environment
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for food safety and health and safety within areas of work
- Contribute to a positive and productive working environment
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience operating within a food production environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to understand and follow detailed procedures, charts.
- Attention to detail, especially for monitoring temperatures, times, and documentation.
- Computer literacy for entering data and using control panels
- Good communication and team work skills.
- Excellent time keeping and attendance record.
