We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Class 2 Driver to join us at our site in Coventry. As a Class 2 Driver, you will deliver exceptional service to our customers by ensuring delivery, installation, service and quality of our products are maintained to a high standard.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering, installing and collecting goods to and from our Elis branch and customer locations.
- Following scheduled delivery routes accurately and efficiently.
- Complying with all road transport legislation and company policies.
- Recording deliveries and collections precisely, including handling customer queries using the correct documentation.
- Updating customer information and identifying opportunities to add value to our service.
- Ensuring the safety and security of Elis vehicles, property, and customer assets.
- Acting as a Service Ambassador, representing Elis with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintaining honest, polite, and helpful communication with all customers.
- Supporting the Transport and Operations teams with additional duties as required.
- Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks and adhering to driving performance standards.
What You’ll Need
- Full Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid CPC qualification.
- Tachograph Digi Card.
- Understanding of road transport legislation.
- You will be required to undertake a DBS check prior to starting (funded by us).
