Southern Tyreco Limited is a family-run company established for over 60 years. Predominantly based in the South East of England, we operate a variety of wholesale, retail, and commercial depots throughout the region.
We are currently looking for a Retail Manager to join our branch in Hastings.
This position is ideal for someone looking to progress their career within the garage and fast-fit industry while becoming part of a growing and well-established family-run business.
The Role:
As Retail Manager, you will support the Centre Manager in the day-to-day running of the site. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting the existing team to maximise efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of the branch.
Candidates should have experience within the fast-fit industry and be confident fitting tyres. Mechanical experience would be advantageous, as would being a qualified MOT Tester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Centre Manager with daily operations
- Engaging with customers and identifying their needs
- Providing honest advice and excellent customer service
- Assisting and supporting workshop staff
- Maintaining efficiency and high standards across the site
- Carrying out tyre fitting and related duties where required
Requirements:
- Experience within the fast-fit industry essential
- Competent tyre fitting skills
- Mechanical experience advantageous
- MOT Tester qualification beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Full training will be provided for candidates unfamiliar with our computer systems.
