Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen understanding of food safety practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere while serving drinks and providing excellent customer service. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a high level of service throughout their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Uphold responsible serving practices, checking identification to verify legal drinking age.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bartending role or similar position within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests.
- Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
