Duties:
- Conducting diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Performing routine servicing such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Repairing electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
- Managing complex repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls
- Utilising the latest diagnostic equipment to identify issues swiftly
- Supporting team development through technical guidance
- Carrying out MOTs in compliance with DVSA regulations when required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealership
- Experience working with VWAG vehicles is highly advantageous
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Enthusiasm for ongoing training, including electric vehicle technology
- Commitment to delivering high standards of service and quality workmanship
