About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lettings Agent to join our busy office. This part-time role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for providing excellent service to both landlords and contract-holders (tenants).
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry:
Accurately input and maintain property and tenancy records.
Maintenance Coordination:
Log and manage maintenance issues, liaising between contract-holders (tenants), landlords, and tradespeople.
Communication:
Handle incoming calls and respond to queries from contract-holders (tenants) and landlords.
Rent Management:
Allocate rent payments, to eventually preparing payments for landlords and contractors, and monitor arrears with initiative to chase as needed.
Contract-Holder Onboarding:
Engage with prospective contract-holders (tenants), guide them through the referencing process, and prepare all necessary move-in documentation.
Inspections & Compliance:
Schedule safety checks and routine property inspections, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in lettings or property administration preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident using property management software and Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
