We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team, working 6 pm - 10 pm Monday to Friday.
As Cleaner you will be a dedicated, flexible, and reliable team member who will clean the nursery to a high standard in accordance with the specification set by the Nursery Manager. You will be responsible for complying with relevant nursery risk assessments and attending to general housekeeping duties while ensuring the nursery is kept to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness at all times.
Key Responsibilities;
· Responsible for your own area of cleaning and ensuring that it is kept to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness.
· Work in partnership with the Nursery Manager to ensure the timely ordering of any cleaning equipment or supplies.
· Be familiar with and comply with relevant Health and Safety procedures and processes in order to comply with legislative responsibilities and safe working practices.
· Immediately report any safety concerns to the Nursery Manager.
· Participating in deep cleaning schedules as identified.
· Communicating to the Nursery Manager on any issues that arise.
Who are we looking for?
- An experienced Cleaner with at least 1 years’ experience in a post of a similar nature
- Experience of team working
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to use initiative & a flexible approach
- Ability to identify and monitor levels of attention to detail.
