Case Worker & Office Administrator
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organised Case Worker & Office Administrator to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support clients from diverse backgrounds whilst ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the office. The successful candidate will play a key role in client care, case management support, and administrative functions.
Applicants from any academic discipline will be considered. However, candidates must be intelligent, proactive, technically competent, and possess excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients through personalised case management, providing practical guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records.
- Coordinate appointments, meetings, and client consultations.
- Provide mentoring and support to clients, helping them navigate personal and professional challenges.
- Handle telephone calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
- Support colleagues with administrative and casework-related tasks.
- Manage filing, data entry, scheduling, and general office administration.
- Ensure a professional, organised, and welcoming office environment.
- Communicate effectively with Bengali-speaking clients and applicants, translating and explaining information where required.
- Assist with community engagement and outreach activities where necessary.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Fluent in both English and Bengali (written and spoken).
- Excellent command of written and verbal communication in both languages.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work with various software systems and databases.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, mentoring, casework, or client support is desirable but not essential.
