Job Description: We're seeking a Junior Panel Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the growing timber frame construction industry. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of timber frame wall panels
- Read and follow technical drawings and production schedules
- Cut timber to specified lengths using various power tools
- Assist with quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process
- Help maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary -
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Reliable and punctual with good work ethic
- Physical fitness - role involves standing for long periods and manual handling
- Must be able to work as part of a team
