About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and housing-related care needs. You will encourage independence, promote choice and inclusion, and provide practical and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs.
Every day is different, and your work will have a direct positive impact on the lives of the people you support.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties may include:
- Supporting individuals with personal care, including washing, bathing, and dressing
- Assisting with medication administration and prompting where required
- Supporting service users to access community activities and appointments
- Encouraging independent living skills and daily routines
- Assisting with shopping, budgeting, and household management
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration
- Carrying out domestic duties, including cleaning and housekeeping
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns in line with company policies
- Promoting dignity, respect, safeguarding, and person-centred care at all times

Requirements
We welcome applications from experienced Support Workers looking to start immediatly.
Essential qualities include:
- A caring, compassionate, and patient approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and commitment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting independence and choice for service users
- Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
- Experience within supported living, domiciliary care, or housing support services
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
Shifts Available
We offer a variety of flexible shift patterns, including:
- 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
