Shirley’s is a brand new independent daytime Cafe/Bistro opening in Thatto Heath, St Helens, focused on high quality breakfasts, brunch, specialty coffee, matcha, fresh food and homemade baking.
We are looking for a reliable and creative Breakfast Chef / Brunch Cook to join our opening kitchen team and help us build something special from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, takes pride in presentation and consistency and can work calmly during busy breakfast and brunch service
This is a daytime cafe role with no late night service!
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Preparing breakfast and brunch dishes to a high standard Managing prep and service during busy morning periods Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen Supporting menu ideas, specials and seasonal dishes Following food hygiene and allergen procedures correctly Working closely with front of house to maintain smooth service
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Previous breakfast/brunch or cafe kitchen experience preferred Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen organisation Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure Passion for quality food and presentation Positive attitude and team mentality
OPENING TEAM NOTE We will begin interviewing candidates in the coming days as part of our launch preparation
