Job Summary

Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support meal assembly and plating in accordance with recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients
- Support serving staff during busy periods by delivering food promptly and courteously
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and customer service
- Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends if required
