Overview
We are seeking a qualified and registered Dental Nurse to join our busy NHS dental practice. Their role will be to support in providing high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate would be organised, have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to be work well as part of a team.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dental surgery at all times
- Prepare instruments and materials for dental procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Update patient records accurately using IT systems
Practice opening hours:
Mon to Fri - 8am - 6pm Saturdays - 8am - 1pm
Applicant requirements:
- Dental Nursing Qualification
- Current GDC registration
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
