Key objectives include:
Ensure operational readiness of lighting equipment-To consistently prepare maintain and manage all lighting equipment so it is fully functional, compliant and available on time to support events and projects, minimising downtime and equipment failures.
Maintain high standards of warehouse efficiency and compliance- to uphold a safe, organised and efficient warehouse environment by following best practices in stock control, statutory compliance and equipment handling while supporting continuous improvement in the lighting department
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to prepare dispatch received and maintain lighting equipment to the exacting standards and within the required time frames.
- Service, maintain, and prepare lighting equipment efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Check lighting equipment in and out accurately using Hire track software.
- Carry out advance maintenance tasks including software and firmware updates – periodic moving light servicing and repairs.
- Inspect all equipment to ensure compliance with statutory regulations including PAT testing requirements.
- Report equipment shortages, damages or consumable issues promptly to the Head of Lighting.
- Maintain lighting department workspace and storage areas in a clean safe and orderly condition.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of Lighting and Warehouse Manager in response to the evolving needs of the business.
- Proactively identify and complete training and development opportunities with the Head of Lighting.
- Maintain strict confidentially at all times.

Skills & Qualities Required:
- Enthusiasm for live events, music, or production.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working within the events industry with a strong background in lighting equipment.
- Good knowledge of lighting control systems and protocols, advanced knowledge of Art- Net, sACN and MA- Net is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication and teamwork ability.
- Ability to work safely methodically and with a high level of attention to detail while managing task timescales.
- A self-motivated proactive individual with strong work ethic- capable of working on their own initiative in a constantly changing and pressurised environment and fast developing company.
- Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines ensuring each task is seen through to completion.
- Flexible approach to working hours and – early starts, late finishes and some weekend work may be required. You must be willing to work independently and as part of a team, including across departments when required.
- You must be physically fit and competent in manual handling including loading and unloading vehicles and moving equipment around the warehouse.
- You must always maintain strictest confidentiality.
- Strong IT skills and working knowledge of Office 365. Experience using Hire Track or other Inventory management software.
- Valid passport and eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Forklift Licence
- Previous Experience using Hire track software.
- Strong knowledge of intelligent and generic lighting fixtures.
- Advanced experience in moving light maintenance
