Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Part-time Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional hairdressing services, including colouring, styling, and specialised treatments, while providing outstanding customer care. This role offers flexibility for those looking to develop their career in a friendly and professional environment. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to utilise their skills in all aspects of Hairdressing with on going training to up skill using Goldwell professional products. Education days at Goldwell Academy in London and in salon training also.
There will be marketing support to grow their column with existing clients waiting. The salon has a supportive, professional team environment, with pension contributions and paid holidays.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hairdressing services such as cuts, colourings, styling, and specialised treatments in accordance with client preferences.
- Provide expert advice on haircare routines and suitable styles for clients.
- Assist with store management tasks including maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the salon area.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and ensuring their comfort throughout their appointment.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and upselling additional services or products.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices where applicable, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication skills and personalised service offerings.
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work.
- Skills in barbering, extensions and Keratin treatments.
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell products and services tactfully to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Organised with good store management skills to ensure the salon remains tidy and welcoming.
