About the Role
Join the team at Barge East, one of London's most unique hospitality destinations. We are looking for high-energy Servers to work across our award-winning site: from our refined AA Rosette restaurant on a 120-year-old Dutch barge to our vibrant outdoor Terrace.
This isn't your average floor job. You’ll be moving between a historic vessel and a sprawling terrace, delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

What we are looking for:
- Experience: 1–2+ years in a busy hospitality role (Server/FOH).
- Energy: This is a physical role. You’ll be navigating the barge and the gardens, often in the same shift!
- Product Passion: A genuine interest in local produce, sustainability, and quality drinks.
- Resilience: You stay calm and friendly even when the terrace is at capacity on a sunny afternoon.
- Professionalism: Punctual, organised, and dedicated to the guest experience.
- Essentials: Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the UK.
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
The Details
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Location: Hackney Wick (Must be able to commute for late finishes).
