Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee our domiciliary care services in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing care delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and leading a team of care professionals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assisted living and senior care support, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in domiciliary care, or care home management, coupled with excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of domiciliary care services, ensuring high standards of person-centred care are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of care staff, fostering a positive and compliant working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including CQC requirements and health & safety regulations.
- Manage medication administration processes safely and effectively in accordance with best practices.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold service excellence.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate holistic support for clients.
- Facilitate staff training programmes to maintain professional development and compliance standards.
- Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and operational efficiency to optimise service delivery.
- Facilitating the growth of our Domiciliary Care offer to a larger geographic area.
Skills
- Proven experience in domiciliary care or nursing home environments with a focus on senior or dementia care.
- Strong management background with supervising experience within a care home or home care setting.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of care planning, medication administration, and dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing domiciliary care services (e.g., CQC standards).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Compassionate approach combined with strong communication skills to build rapport with clients, families, and staff.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances whilst maintaining high-quality standards of care. Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
