Benholm Care Home is a welcoming 34‑bed home on the outskirts of Forfar, offering residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care in a calm, supportive environment.
We are looking for a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse to join our night team, providing high‑quality clinical care and leadership overnight.
The Role
As the nurse on duty, you will take responsibility for the clinical oversight of the home during night shifts, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
You will:
- Deliver safe, person‑centred nursing care in line with NMC standards
- Lead and support the care team overnight
- Administer and manage medication safely
- Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and provide clear handovers
- Ensure a calm, safe, and well‑run environment throughout the night
About You
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting (desirable)
- Confident working independently and leading overnight shifts
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Calm, compassionate, and values‑driven
