Role: Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £20ph + Door to door paid at 1.5x
Shift: Monday – Friday (37.5hrs)
Overtime: Offered at 1.5x and 2x
On Call: 1/6-7 weeks + £100 standby + £55 call out bonus + overtime rates
My client, a respected independent specialist in Automatic and Industrial Door Systems, is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer. This is a permanent, field-based role offering consistent work, a local patch, and the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge.
As an Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer you will be responsible for
Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance to a range of automatic and industrial doors
Respond to on-site callouts and emergencies
Assist with small installation projects
Deliver safe and compliant work in line with industry standards
The successful Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer will have the following experience
Experience working with automatic doors, or a willingness to learn this side of the business if your experience is mainly industrial
Stanley, record and label brand experience would be desirable
Full UK driving licence
Qualifications are beneficial but not essential
The Automatic and Industrial Door Engineer will receive an excellent remuneration package which includes

Door-to-door (paid at 1.5x outside of core working hours)
