Flexible Team Member – Bakery & Retail
Location: Budgens Child Okeford
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour (age 21+)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Team Member to join our busy Bakery & Retail team at Budgens. This permanent role involves working across both the bakery and shop — preparing and cooking fresh food, serving customers, and keeping the store running smoothly.
As a flexible team member, you’ll work a range of shifts across different days and times, supporting the team wherever needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and a hands-on approach in a friendly, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present hot food and bakery items to a high standard
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
- Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at the tills and on the forecourt
- Replenish shelves and assist with stock deliveries
- Keep the store clean, organised, and well-presented
- Support team members and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Follow company standards to ensure quality and consistency
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 18 or over
- Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- No fixed hours – shifts will be arranged in advance based on business needs
- Previous experience in food preparation, bakery, or retail preferred (training provided)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail
