Job requirements of Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager:
We are looking for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager to oversee the operation of the effluent treatment plant, optimize plant performance and maintain compliance.
We are also open to applications from candidates who are already within the UK and who require sponsorship, provided you have demonstrable relevant experience.
Duties
· Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
· Ensure PPM’s , maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
· Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
· Make sure all PPM’s relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
· Oversee the daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
· You must make sure we remain in compliance with our environmental permit
· Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
· Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report and concerns to the engineering management
· Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses
What you will need:
· Previous experience as a Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager or good understanding of how an effluent plant operates
· Level 3 H&S awareness
· Sampling, testing and analysis of effluent plant
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
· Strong organisational and time management skills
Pay/ hours and benefits:
· Rate of pay – £Competitive
· Monday-Friday 08:00am-17:00pm, flexibility required
