Pickering Station
Hourly rate £13.45 from 1st April. (if over 18)
Seasonal position. Up to 22 hours per week.
We have a variety of roles to fill for the Railways 2025 season (March 2026 to January 2027). Station, Office, Carriage and accommodation cleaners.
Do you have experience working in a cleaning team? Do you have the flexibility to work evenings, mornings from 7am, weekends and bank holidays? Would you like to work in a varied role and have a positive effect on our visitors’ experience?

Job includes:
- Keeping all areas of the NYMR estate clean & maintained.
- Preparing our coaches which involves watering up, re-gassing, charging and toilet tank emptying following the training provided and safe systems of work.
- All public areas regularly checked for cleanliness & stock levels.
- Ensure that all stock & staffing levels are maintained.
- Weekends and bank holidays are standard working days.
- Evening station clean and locking up role.
