Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment to meet hygiene standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience in a culinary context is highly desirable
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in managing food production processes and maintaining high-quality standards
- Previous experience serving guests in a hospitality setting is advantageous
