Chalice Medical is providing the opportunity to work in a growing and dynamic organisation that designs, manufactures and supplies life sustaining Medical devices used in cardiac surgery worldwide.
We are currently looking for a warehouse operative to join our dedicated and friendly team. If you are a hands on, team focused individual with great attention to detail and a positive attitude we would love to hear from you.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and dispatching products with care and precision.
- Operating FLT.
- Product inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
- Packaging products in line with strict specifications.
- Complete paperwork in line with company procedures.
- Work to the company’s quality system and operating procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
- Be prepared to carry out other duties as required and participate as part of a team with high standards of work.
- Work within the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- Complete driving duties to deliver and collect products.
- Commitment and dedication to job duties/ company
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Any other duties deemed necessary
Applicants for the position should have:
- Forklift licence.
- A full clean driving licence.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Excellent time keeping and reliability.
- Strong team work skills with the ability to work independently.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
The hourly wage will be £12.91 per hour rising to £13.11 after 12 months service. Relevant training will be provided. The working hours will be 37 hours per week Monday – Friday.
After successful completion of 3 months an health scheme and pension scheme, employer contributions 5%, can be joined. Yearly sickness bonus. Probation period 6 months
Holiday entitlement is 22 days plus Bank Holidays and increases with length of service.
