Key Responsibilities
- Operate drop hammer forging machines as part of a production team
- Heat metal billets/bars to correct forging temperatures using furnaces or induction heaters
- Align and position workpieces and dies accurately for precision forging
- Monitor machine operation and adjust pressure, alignment, and stroke as required
- Assist with routine maintenance and daily safety checks on equipment
- Follow production schedules set by the Forge Manager
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in high-heat and high-noise industrial environments
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Solid understanding of workplace health & safety procedures
- Drop Hammer Operating experience (1+ year preferred)
- Previous forge or foundry experience highly desirable (but not essential

Monday to Thursday 7am -4pm
