We are now looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming and collaborative team.

Most of your time will be spent at our Godalming practice, with occasional support across our other branches to keep variety in your week.
You will be joining a large, experienced and friendly team made up of 10 veterinary surgeons, 9 qualified veterinary nurses and 13 support colleagues. Many of our team have been with us for years, and that stability has created a culture where people look out for one another, pitch in when needed, and share a real pride in what they do.
As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Key Responsibilities
Work life balance is not just a phrase here. This role is built around a four day working week, with flexibility on shift patterns within our opening hours of 8:30am to 6:30pm. You will take part in a Saturday rota of 1 in 4, working 8am to 12pm. There are no out of hours requirements, and we are very happy to consider part time applications. A full time position is 40 hours per week.
You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development
- Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
