Job Title: 3.5TVan Delivery Driver
Required: Tacho Card
Hourly Rate: £13.45 + Good Driver bonus £1.33
Shift Pattern:
- 45 hours, Wednesday-Sunday, 05:00-14:45
Reporting to: Transport Manager.
**You will be required to drive from Southampton to London as part of this role**
Duties
- Drive a CLF van safely and responsibly on scheduled delivery routes ensuring that customers are kept informed of ETAs and delays.
- Keep the vehicle fueled, clean and properly maintained including pre- and post-delivery checks and Health & Safety procedures.
- Undertake basic van maintenance such as topping up oil, topping up screen wash, changing bulbs, replacing windscreen wipers, topping up tyre PSI
- Report any delivery or van issues to our Transport Department
- Ensure that, as a representative of CLF Distribution, you are courteous and respectful of our customers and follow company procedures.
- Promote CLF and its products and services
- Undertake any necessary driver training which will be supported by CLF
Skills
- Able to drive confidently and safely including in and around London
- Must be able to lift 25kg totes to unload your vehicle at point of delivery
- Ability to work well in a reactive environment, understanding hazards around you, always driving with caution
- Van driving experience is essential
- Must hold a clean driving license
- Must hold a valid Tacho Card
- Friendly, helpful and focused with good communication skills
