Role Type: Support Worker Full-time
Location: Southend on Sea
Rate of Pay:
- Weekday daytime hours & rate - 09:00 – 21:00 at £17.00 per hour
- Weekend daytime hours & rate - 09:00 – 21:00 at £18.14 per hour
- Night sleep rate - £12.71 per hour
Night shifts are from 20:00 – 09:00 and consist of 7 hours waking and 6 hours sleep in.
Support Worker
We are looking to recruit a support worker to join a friendly established team providing support and ongoing rehabilitation to a young disabled man in his own home and in the community. Flexibility is key for this role, as the role will consist of days, nights and also weekends.
The successful candidate will offer:
- Experience in care/support work in the community
- Experience working in a rehab environment and with therapy staff would be an advantage
- Flexible approach to care and availability to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis including night shifts and weekends.
- Great communication skills
- Positive and friendly personality
