Set within a characterful farmhouse and Sussex barn, The Woolpack combines traditional pub charm with a busy and professional hospitality environment. Alongside our freshly prepared food menu, we host private events, summer BBQs, and busy weekend trade throughout the pub and garden.
The Role
We are looking for friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and experienced bar staff to join our team at The Woolpack.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the pub.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving drinks and food efficiently while delivering excellent customer service
- Preparing and maintaining the bar area to a high standard
- Handling payments and operating the till accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar and customer areas
- Assisting with table service when required
- Restocking and monitoring bar supplies
- Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
- Supporting events, functions, summer BBQs, and busy weekend service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bar or hospitality experience
- Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working in a busy environment while maintaining high standards
