Alcohol Recovery Coordinator

Pay Rate: £22 – £24 per hour
Seven Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced Alcohol Recovery Coordinator to join a specialist substance misuse service in Bromley on a temporary full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with experience supporting individuals affected by alcohol misuse. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering recovery-focused interventions, increasing engagement within treatment services, and supporting vulnerable adults within the local community.
The Role
As an Alcohol Recovery Coordinator, you will manage a caseload of service users primarily affected by alcohol dependency and misuse. You will provide tailored interventions, complete comprehensive assessments, and support individuals through their recovery journey while promoting positive health and social outcomes.
The role will involve close partnership working with healthcare providers, community organisations, and support agencies to improve access to treatment and increase successful recovery completions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist interventions designed to reduce alcohol-related harm
- Facilitate alcohol recovery groups, workshops, and community-based sessions
- Complete comprehensive assessments, recovery planning, and risk assessments
- Support service users throughout structured treatment and recovery pathways
- Increase engagement and retention within alcohol treatment services
- Provide assertive outreach and follow-up support to reduce disengagement
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and community organisations
- Deliver street-based outreach support where required
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and social inclusion
- Maintain accurate case records and reporting documentation
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting individuals affected by alcohol misuse
- Strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery-focused approaches
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and challenging behaviours
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organisational and IT skills
