Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Domestic Gas Engineer / Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is a varied role that offers a mix of reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding, heating work, and installation projects, including bathroom refurbishments and domestic plumbing.
The Role
You'll work across domestic properties carrying out a wide variety of plumbing, heating and gas work, including:
- Gas boiler breakdowns, diagnostics and fault finding
- Boiler servicing and planned maintenance
- Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
- Emergency gas and water leak repairs
- General plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Central heating system repairs, upgrades and installations
- Radiator, cylinder, pump, valve and heating control replacements
- Bathroom refurbishments
- First fix and second fix plumbing
- Kitchen plumbing installations
- Sanitary ware installation
- Pipework alterations and upgrades
- Some boiler and heating installations
- General property maintenance relating to plumbing and heating
Approximately 80–90% of the role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs, with the remainder being installation and refurbishment work.
All appointments are scheduled by our office team, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent workmanship and outstanding customer service.

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 1 year's experience working within domestic plumbing and heating
- Experience diagnosing and repairing domestic gas boilers
- Experience with first and second fix plumbing
- Bathroom and kitchen installation experience would be advantageous
- Good understanding of domestic central heating systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
- Honest, reliable and professional attitude
- Good understanding of Gas Safe regulations and unsafe situations procedures
Desirable
- City & Guilds Plumbing Qualification
- CSCS Card
- Experience carrying out bathroom refurbishments
- Experience installing domestic heating systems
