A nationally recognised, award winning farm shop, Ludlow Farmshop is located just outside the market town of Ludlow, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Part of the Earl of Plymouth's estate. Ludlow Farmshop supports traditional production methods, with six departments making great tasting products, such as cheese, ice cream, coffee, pastries, cakes, biscuits, jams and pickles, as well as a famous Butchery department. Using as much produce from our own estate, we also support other local suppliers, who have the same ethos as us. Coupled with a focus on reducing the impact of what we do on the environment, Ludlow Farmshop has an excellent reputation for quality products, which you cannot buy elsewhere.
The Production Kitchen is responsible for the cooking off, of our pies, pasties, and sausage rolls, and for preparing ready meals, sandwiches, salads and a range of other products sold in Ludlow Farmshop, Ludlow Kitchen, Ludlow Pantry & The Clive Arms.
The day starts early, usually between 5am & 6am and weekend working is required on a rota basis. Shifts finish no later than 3pm. The ideal candidate will have catering experience but full training will be given.
As the Senior Production Assistant, you will have responsibility of ensuring that the daily production schedules are met and the quality of the goods being produced in the kitchen are finished to the standards required.
Weekend working is required.
