The Role
We have a great opportunity for a Planner to join our team based in Hitchin. This is a permanent position supporting our Stonewater Housing contract. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months and the core working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. As a Planner, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the schedules of our tradespeople, making sure everything runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service and organisational skills.
The Client
Our contract with Stonewater is long term with the option to extend the partnership again. On our contract we cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and our senior leadership team has years of experience within this sector which can help you develop your learning and knowledge base.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Allocate work to trades people within given time scales • Resource work efficiently by being aware of tradespeople’s availability and knowing where they are at all times • Promote and maximise 1st time fix • Monitor and report service delivery issues to senior service controller • Manage, move and reschedule jobs to ensure that service levels are met, minimise travel time and to ensure available resources for delivery • Produce client reports • Manage appointments and an appointment system
What You Will Need
Essential criteria: • Previous experience in a customer facing role • Ability to work well under pressure • Ability to engage people and build strong working relationships with trades, colleagues, clients and managers Desirable criteria: • Previous experience working in a Planning, Customer Service or Call Centre role • Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
