Here at The Ark Pre-School, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, passionate and a team player to come and join our fantastic setting.
Our ideal candidate would answer Yes to the following:
1. Are you passionate about helping children get the best start in life?
2. Do you put children at the heart of everything you do?
3. Do you enjoy allowing children freedom to learn through a play-based environment?
When we invite you for an interview, we want you to feel relaxed, feel no pressure and enjoy your time as we get to know each other. We’ll show you around our setting, introducing you to each of our lovely staff members and children.
We’d then go onto discussing all the things you feel passionate about, what motivates you and what you really find important about working with children.
We’ll share with you all the things we implement within our setting and give you the opportunity to share your understanding of why you think do the things we do…maybe you could share some experiences with us if you feel your practice reflects our ethos.
We take safeguarding seriously and we're very passionate about giving and doing more to support our children and families.
When the interview is over, we hope you feel excited about your future with us should you be successful in joining our team. We feel very passionate that a strong team builds strong children. We aren’t afraid to admit we have high expectations of the staff we have at The Ark.
Our aims and values are at the centre of everything we do within our setting, so it important for us to find someone to join our team who feels as passionate about them as we do!
Our aims and values are:
· To provide a happy, caring, homely, and inspiring environment supporting children’s emotional well-being and independence.
· To follow the children’s interests using a play-based approach to learning.
· To develop strong partnerships with families to support their child’s development and well-being.
· To provide and encourage confident communicators through our language rich environment.
· To provide a Christian ethos and understanding of basic Christian values.
