We are seeking motivated and compassionate Family Worker to join our Targeted Family Support Service.
As a Family Worker, you will play a key role in delivering intensive, strengths-based, outcome focused interventions to families, supporting children and young people to remain safely at home wherever possible.
About the role
You will work directly with children, babies, young people and their families to support meaningful and sustained change. Working alongside Social Workers and partner agencies, you will plan and deliver tailored interventions that promote stability, resilience and positive family relationships.
This will include:
- Providing parenting advice, guidance and practical support.
- Delivering direct, child-focused interventions.
- Supporting mediation and facilitating family agreements.
- Supporting families through periods of increased need to promote positive change.
- Supporting reunification plans where children are returning home.
- Contributing to plans for children we care for, to promote stability.
You will be confident in building relationships, managing complex family dynamics, and maintaining a clear focus on safeguarding and outcomes for children.
