The Role
To provide a high-quality cleaning service across the College Estate, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The post-holder plays a vital role in maintaining the professional image of the college and supporting the health and wellbeing of the College community.
The primary purpose of the Estates Cleaner is to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal across the College’s internal Estate. You will be responsible for ensuring that students, staff, and visitors are greeted by a welcoming and hygienic environment from the moment they enter the building.
This role requires a highly organised individual who can manage their time efficiently, adapt to changing schedules, and maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude when interacting with the College community. You will be expected to undergo training in specific cleaning tasks and provide exceptional customer service to all estates users. Your commitment to excellence and willingness to go the extra mile will ensure the estate remains a safe, clean, and professional environment that makes a meaningful impact on the daily lives of everyone using the facilities.
What Will You Bring to the Role
- Adapting - Handling work changes and adapting to changing situations within the estates cleaning department being able to adapt to change.
- Collaborating - working together within the team to complete multiple tasks to complete the required cleaning within multiple areas.
- Problem Solving - solving problems that may occur and resolving these issues within a timely manner.
- Delivering - completing the relevant cleaning tasks to the expected standards and delivering the standards that are required to keep a clean and safe environment.
