The Royal Oak is an independent pub passionate about providing great service, food, and drinks. The fresh produce sourced and used by our chefs delivers a high-quality pub menu and as a free house, we have a good relationship with several local craft breweries.
One thing that is important to us is striving to create an inclusive work environment in which our FOH and BOH teams work closely together, welcoming everyone’s input to ensure the Oak is an inviting, open minded place to be.
We are looking for someone:
· Who is Innovative and looking to help build the business and assist in menu development
· Who has experience training and developing junior chefs
. Who has a thorough understanding of health and safety, and food hygiene practices and their applications
. Who can deputise for the head chef to manage the team, stock control and waste management
. Who can liaise with the management team to address customer and business demands.
. Legal right to work in the UK
What we can offer you
· £40,000 per year depending on experience and ability to fulfil all aspects of the role.
. · Up to £4,000 per year target-based bonuses after probation period
· Share of service charge averaging £2.50 per hour
· Paid breaks
· 28 days holiday per year
