FRONT OF HOUSE SERVICE TEAM
This is a seasonal, temporary role, running from end of July for 6 weeks.

THE ROLE
As part of the Front of House Service Team, you will play a key role in delivering smooth, efficient service and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well looked after.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role that requires strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail, alongside a commitment to maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service & Operations
- Welcome and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders accurately using the POS system and handle payments confidently
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently, maintaining service flow and presentation standards
- Ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience throughout service
Food Safety & Allergen Awareness
- Maintain a clear understanding of allergen procedures and communicate accurately with customers
- Complying with allergen law
- Never guess allergen information — always check with the kitchen or management
- Ensure all orders, particularly allergen requests, are communicated clearly and correctly
- Follow all food hygiene and safety standards when handling food and beverages
Cleaning, Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness across all Front of House areas, including tables, service stations and customer spaces
- Follow “clean as you go” practices at all times
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company standards
- Report any hazards, breakages or safety concerns to management promptly
Stock & Organisation
- Assist with checking and storing deliveries in line with company procedures
- Support stock rotation (FIFO) where required
- Keep service areas organised, stocked and ready for service
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with kitchen, bar and management teams
- Work collaboratively to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Be proactive, flexible and willing to support other areas when needed
- Contribute to a positive and respectful working environment
WHAT YOU BRING
- Previous Front of House experience in a busy hospitality environment (essential)
- A positive, friendly and professional approach to customer service
- Ability to stay calm, organised and efficient under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
You will have:
- Previous FOH experience (Ideally at least 1 year)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferred, training can be provided)
- Allergen awareness (training will be provided if required)

Pay: £12.71 per hour
