Vehicle Technician
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnostics to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with company and manufacturer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete MOT preparation and testing (if qualified)
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
- Adhere to health & safety regulations and workshop procedures
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts teams
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
The Ideal Candidate
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- MOT Tester licence (desirable but not essential)
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
