Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated childcarer with an interest in supporting a child with special needs. The ideal candidate would have experience working with individuals young people who have autism/learning disability.
Duties
- Provide personalised care and support to my teemage son who has autism, non-verbal and down syndrome
- Assist with daily activities such as feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene in a nurturing manner
- Support him during playtime to encourage social interaction and skill development
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children with special educational needs or disabilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of working with individuals with autism or other developmental conditions
- Patience, empathy, organisational skills,
This role is ideal for someone looking for a few hours work over the summer period. It is to support my son when he is off school. My other children will be looked after by someone else at my home too. Ideally it would be someone who likes going for walks. He enjoys going out on his pushbike and scooter. He loves swimming.
I am looking for someone monday 12 to 5pm and wednesday 12 to 5pm.

Contract length: 6 weeks
Pay: £14.00 per hour
