Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account & Finance Manager to oversee our organisation’s financial health and strategic planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing leadership in financial planning and cost control. Duties
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with recognised accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimise cost control and maximise organisational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, forecast future financial performance, and advise on financial planning initiatives.
- Manage financial services including banking relationships, audits, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth or cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to organisational policies and external regulations related to finance and accounting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control strategies.
- Experience with accounts payable processes and financial services management.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.

Pay: £55,000.00 per year
