Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Installer to join our surface design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of materials, microcement, clay, terrazzo, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience to contribute to high-quality projects across residential and commercial sites. The Installer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver precise and efficient installation services.
Responsibilities
- Install microcement, clay, according to project specifications and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct themselves in a respectful manner
- Follow detailed schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Assist in the preparation of sites, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Troubleshoot installation issues promptly and efficiently to minimise delays
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-we extensive microcement experience.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of construction painting, masonry, plastering, and fabrication techniques advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential depending on project requirements
- Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards throughout all stages of installation

Pay: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
