We are looking for a skilled and reliable Site Engineer with hands-on experience in installing and pressure-testing pipework, as well as commissioning and servicing plant and equipment related to swimming pools, spas, and experience rooms. You will be confident in training clients on the use of installed systems, with excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- The installation of pipework support and pipework, carrying out required pressure test.
- The installation, commissioning and service of plant and equipment related to swimming pool, spa & ‘experience’ rooms, including filtration, feature and chemical dosing systems.
- The training of clients in the use of installed equipment and systems.
Skills & Experience:
Technical Skills
- Pipework Installation & Pressure Testing: Proven hands-on experience installing pipework systems and conducting pressure tests to ensure integrity and safety.
- Mechanical Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, especially those related to swimming pools, spas, and wellness facilities.
- Commissioning & Servicing Equipment: Experience with commissioning and servicing plant equipment such as Filtration systems, Water features, Chemical dosing systems
- System Training: Ability to train clients on the use and maintenance of installed systems and equipment.
Soft Skills
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Professionalism: Approachable and professional demeanour when dealing with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in varied environments (e.g., hotels, schools, yachts) and adjusting to different project needs.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision in installation and testing to ensure safety and quality.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on-site.
Experience and Credentials
- Industry Background: Experience in wellness, leisure, or luxury pool/spa installation sector, with hands-on expertise in mechanical systems and site engineering
- CSCS Card : Gold level or higher preferred
- Additional Qualifications (Desirable) : SSSTS/SMSTS, PASMA, Confined Space Trained, First Aid Certification
