Goldstein Salmon is looking for an experienced Salmon Filleting Line Supervisor to join our team at our modern, high-standard salmon factory in Colindale. We specialize exclusively in salmon products, and this role is essential in ensuring our filleting operations run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the salmon filleting line.
- Lead, motivate, and support production staff to achieve production targets.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Organize staff allocation and workflow to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Conduct regular line checks and promptly address any production issues.
- Assist with staff training, performance monitoring, and development.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supervising a fish processing or filleting line is essential.
- Strong knowledge of salmon processing and filleting operations is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and factory hygiene requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Good understanding and communication in English is essential.
- Must be comfortable working in a chilled food production environment.
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend shifts when required.
- Must be available to start immediately.
