About the Role
As a Pets Corner, Land-Based & Gardening Volunteer, you will support individuals attending our services to take part in a variety of outdoor, animal care, and gardening activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to share your skills, gain experience, and help people achieve their goals while enjoying the benefits of being outdoors.
What You Could Help With
- Assisting with the care and welfare of animals
- Supporting feeding, cleaning, and enrichment activities
- Helping maintain gardens, raised beds, and outdoor spaces
- Assisting with planting, watering, weeding, and seasonal projects
- Supporting individuals to learn practical land-based and horticultural skills
- Helping with environmental and conservation activities
- General maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas
- Supporting community events and projects
What We're Looking For
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and levels of experience.
We would particularly like to hear from people with an interest or experience in:
- Animal care and welfare
- Gardening and horticulture
- Conservation and environmental projects
- Farming or land-based activities
- DIY and practical outdoor skills
- Education, coaching, or mentoring
- Supporting people with additional needs
