Overview
We are seeking a skilled Telescopic Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient material movement on a fast paced new build construction site.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with site team to keep up to date with construction programme
- Advise site manager of material shortages to prevent delays
- Ensure deliveries are checked for quality and quantity and delivery tickets are kept safe
- Ensure waste is managed appropriately
- Conduct weekly inspections of the forklift and attachments
- Handle materials with care, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to work unsupervised safely and use own initiative
- Proven experience operating forklifts on construction sites
- Telescopic forklift ticket and full UK driving license
- Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Relevant health and safety awareness.
